Projectmanager

32-40 hours a week

HBO work and thinking level

As a Projectmanager you realize the dreamworld of our clients. Not only by managing wishes and expectations but also by meeting notes and statusupdates, you are the key to progress, keeping overview, and structure. You as a colleague will fulfill a crucial and stabilizing role within our client-team. Where your coworkers focus on content, you will be busy managing happiness and success. Your efforts will help our team and our client to keep a cool head when the heat is on in sometimes hectic projects.

Does this sound familiar to you?

Why choose Levarne?

We provide you with a fun and challenging workplace in one of the most innovative and fastest growing teams in the Netherlands. What we mean by innovative is that we stimulate the happiness of working people within our entire team. As an example; we don’t have hierarchy and there are no managers, we work in a self-managing team where everybody is equal. We have a lego-wall, foosball table and like to go outside to play some real street soccer as well. Would you like to extend your knowledge? We organize a knowledge-session once a month,  during these sessions we teach each other about subjects like VUE while enjoying a nice pizza.

As a projectmanager you will be the linking person between development-process and the wishes of the client, where you will have an accompanying role in the managing of this process. You are capable of keeping the overview for the client as well as for your colleagues and are able to make realistic project planning-schedules. You can be a brainstorm partner for our clients and can translate (in cooperation with our developers) their wishes into technic realizable solutions. You are involved throughout the project process including prioritizing the tasks, managing the work of the developing team, testing the results, monitoring progress, signaling (and researching) potential delays and the project delivery. You're responsible for the success of your clients and making sure that they feel successful as well.

You start with your morning coffee, and then?

A day as a projectmanager at Levarne could look something like this: Your day starts with our kickoff meeting at 09:00 where you and your team give each other an update about what is going on, and what is on the agenda for today. Following, you have a meeting with a client where you ask them their wishes for the next features in the upcoming weeks. You advise about these subjects and inform the client how to implement them. Together with the development team you discuss how to realize these desired features. You determine the functional requirements, they determine the technical choices. After our joint lunch break there is some testing to be done on another project, you check if the requirements have been achieved in the way that the client would like to see it done. After the client's approval you manage a quick live-realization of the feature(s). Then our designer comes to your desk and would like to have your opinion about the design of a subject for yet another application. The rest of the day you coordinate the work activities of your coworkers and the different projects so everyone knows what to do and when to do it. At the end of the day you go home with a super satisfied feeling. Looking forward to the next day!

Thanks to your devotion, accuracy and pro-activity you are well informed about the wishes and expectations of your client. You lead these projects so well that they will be delivered within time and budget. Sales is not required in this function, nevertheless you do see the opportunities in up and cross selling our services which can contribute to the success of your client and Levarne.

Applying, how will that go?

We understand that applying for jobs can be tense. That is why you can see the next steps of what the interview process will look like here.

1. Let's get in touch!
As a starter, would you like to grow, learn, work in a helpful team, work hybrid, enjoy a delicious lunch in the office and have fun activities? Let us know! Also when in doubt: a chat does always provide more clarity and who knows the conversation could make all doubts disappear about becoming a Levarnian!
2. Having a little chat
Trrring.. your telephone rings. Our recruiter calls you to talk about your qualities and wishes. Please ask enough questions so you have a clear view about who Levarne is as an employer, what the possibilities are and whether we will be a good fit for you.
3. First meet
If we see potential in one another, it's time to have our first encounter at the office: you casually get into the spirit and talk with a few Levarnians, including our HR colleague. We talk about our core values and we are always very curious about new people so prepare to be asked a lot of different questions!
4. Proposal
Nice for us both to let our first encounter sink in. We did agree about when our next moment of contact by phone will be. We are curious about how you experienced the conversation and we share our experience in return and whether we want to give you a job offer.. Is there a mutual connection?!
5. Welcome!
Yes! We're so glad to have you as our new asset. The first month you get a nice introduction project so we could get to know your skills and so you can experience whether the work activities are a good match for you. When this all runs smoothly, you can call yourself a true Levarnian. Congratulations!
